Cyanotype also known as sun printing, which uses UV rays from the sun and iron rich sensitizer solution to produce a brilliant blue image. It is one of the oldest photographic printing process. Come learn how simple it will be to make your own beautiful artwork!
In this class, all materials will be provided to make a paper print and one bookmark. If there is a special item you would like to use as an imprint, please feel free to bring it. A variety of ferns and flowers will be provided to choose from, if you do not bring your own imprint item. Sun is necessary for this process, so if the sun is not shining, the class will be rescheduled.
